Just got my new Lystrophis Dorbignyi and I thought I would share some pictures. Any of you have one? or only me! I hope to be producing these guys in a year or two. What do you think of him? Thanks.

What's the common name for Lystrophis dorbignyi? How rare are they? Not able to find much info.

The Dorbignyi are called a eastern hognose in Uruguay and the tri-color hogs like (pulcher)are called western hognose. so as they are both tri-colored hognose they could be called Eastern Tri-hogs and Western Tri-hogs. thats the best I can come up with!

thanks.

Wow Jim,

You are one of the first to have one that I have seen. Very cool! I would love to get some. Will you be going to the Upscale reptiles show in Sacramento in September? If so, will you be bringing any Lystrophis?

The only reptile expos I go to are down my way between LA and SanDiego. I have not been a vendor at a expo for about 8 years but I might be one at the next Pomona or Del Mar show. thanks.
