Hi,
Actually, it would be easier to tell if the photo showed the snake at rest in her cage. You can tell a ovulation swelling, not only by the lump, which your snake clearly has, but also by the position the animal is resting in. Ovulating females typically lie in loose circular coils and the lower portion of the snake looks flexed as it pushes the follicles upward, toward mid body to get fertilized.
Also, I really wouldn't hold her as you are doing as it it can likely complicate an already uncmfortable process. It looks like she is just finishing or just starting the ovulation process, probably just starting. The area past the lump will get much thinner, and a bit contorted during the peak, at which time there is no mistaking it. At whatever point she is at, it looks like you are in business. Good luck.

i couldnt tell if she was ovulating so i held her up like markus jayne did on his website and was able to tell like that but since I know now i wont have to do it again.THANKY
