Able to get that female to eat? I had a few imports that were almost impossible but after about 2 months of trying they finally ate a washed small rat. Good luck. Thanks Erick

what did you wash them with?? i might need to try that, my snake i am having problems with is an import.

I wash them in warm water real good and then I towel dry them very good as well. This helps take some of the scent off of them which is why the African Rats are so productive. Let me know if it works for you. It sounds silly but on occation it works. Thanks Erick

Do you feed them while they are still kind of wet (just towel dried)?

I let towel dried it and put it in a tub for about a half an hour until it was dry and fluffy again - maybe I waited too long??

I did try to wash a small brown rat - but it didnt work - maybe I didn't use the right flavor soap? LOL - Just kidding - no soap - maybe I didn't wash it quite enough. I'm going to try again for a couple of weeks and if I strike out then I'll go with the African rats. Might even try washing a mouse.

The sharper image has a dog brush that is supposed to help illiminate odors - I wonder if that would work?

I'll let you know if/when she eats!

Thanks
