I have 3 beardies. I have had 2 of them since last September and the 3rd one was 18 mos old when I got her in April. I have never seen any signs of 'brumation'. Do they all brumate??? Thanks.

Not all beardies burmate. Some will just slow down in there activities and continue to eat just not as much. Others will go into full blwon sleep. I have several adults that never burmate. And I have several more that do. You do get better breeding results if you burmate them.

Most do, but some do it to a lesser degree than if you were to change the light cycles, and temp with the seasons. If you plan to breed it is a good idea to change the temps and light and let them brumate. This signals them that it's breeding season. Nothing to worry about really. Last season I didn't change the light cycles for one of my females, and she still had a period of being lazy, and napping on the cool side of the tank, without much interest in food.
