Let sleeping turtles lie

PHRatz Apr 27, 2006 10:34 AM

We've had a cool front move in a couple of days ago. It's not cold outside, just a little chillier than it had been.
I saw Hobo walk across the front yard then vanish into his burrow that ground squirrels created last year. He went under a little early for the day.
I got a fabulous shot of a wolf spider in her burrow so I thought why not try it with Hobo?
I got one after I accidentally woke him up a bit & then he was fully awake, probably not thrilled with me for that.
Arrghh I never get these posted in the right order but.. oh well.

Me too, love that green head lol.
DH kept telling me all winter that Chip has a green face.. uh huh.. Chip's head is yellow. That's odd because the majority of males around here have green heads. Chip is the first yellow headed one I've seen.
They're all special in their own ways.
