I'm babysitting this lil guy for my boss' son, they've
had him for just over a year. I believe he was
caught in Los Gatos, CA, but not possitive.... chunky
lil fella tho! Sure is fun having a lizard in my snake-house.

I was told it's a fence lizard..
I thought it was a blue-belly.. lol

I just added that fake plant, all he had was the bark
a rock and the one hide. Anything else I can put in there?
He's eating 2 crickets every other day, would he eat
small mealies or veggies of any kind?

Hi there,

It looks to me like a little spiny lizard, I'm not sure what kind. I'm breeding blue spiny's and there is striking resemblence to them, but there are several species that look very similar. Another name is the jewelled swift. I've heard of some eating veggies, mine never have, but they go crazy for mealies and silkies. I feed crickets as a staple.
