some are buried but their are 19 which is smaller than she normally lays, her average is 25.

i forgot to mention they are not slimy i used a moist paper towel to help get some of the perlite of of them for the photo.

That is very exciting. I do not have anything strong enough to candle mine with. A regular bulb does not seem to work for me. Also, I am so afraid of tilting them. Does tilting them cause problems, if you put them back in the position they were laid in, when you are done? Or is only when you leave them in the wrong position?

i bought a penlight at wal mart like 6 years ago. i replace the batteries every year and got a better bulb last year all you have to do is touh the light to the egg and the whole thing lights up, its better to do in low or no light. tilting them is not as bad as people think. my mom knocked down my incubator the first year i ever bred and i was devestated, but i thought why throw them away and just picked them off the floor and reset the incubator, and guess what they all hatched. they got dropped like 6 weeks into incubation so i see no harm in moving them. i still try not to move them a lot but you get the picture.
