Yeah, I got him from Dragons4You. I had been looking at him for weeks and then finally broke down and bought him not long ago. I just liked his coloring, thought it was cool.... Snow body and tail and BRIGHT yellow head and legs.

This is actually one dragon my husband liked the looks of hahaha

going into shed in this pic, but you get the idea

Does he really look like what he did in the pics? White body, yellow head and limbs? Or was he a yellow dragon in shed?

nate

Yeah you lucked out on him. I wasnt sure If he actually was that color. It will be interesting to see if the babies will turn out like that. What will you be crossing him to? I would find something as simmaliar to him as possible. If not I would go with a snow from dragons den herp. Or a hypo from rob and vickie.

nate

I already have his mate picked out..... She was sold to me as a Normal x Snow, but she is by far more snow than normal. I have seen some Snow dragons a lot darker than she is. She is currently double clutching for me and due to lay her second clutch from the one breeding with my Big boy "cheyenne". After she has rested, etc she will go in with Jake.

The only thing you have to worry about is sperm retention in your female. ussually breeders will keep a female in with only one male a season. Beardies can lay mulitpul clutches off of one breeding. So hopefully her body will take the new sperm.

I am not saying she will be going in with him right away. This was her first time breeding and for her to double clutch on her first was impressive, but it will drain her quite a bit. She will be housed alone for quite a while before she is reintroduced to another male.... She will be pampered and spoiled rotten for a while

Just wondering if you Hypo Pastel is a full hypo pastel with the clear nails, or is it a snadfire X hypo pastel? If it's full hypo pastel do you have a pic? I just got a hypo pastel from the dachiu's and it is incredable. It's got a lot of other colors to it other then the pale yellow, lavender, and orange eye. It's full of ornge color on it's back as well as the eyes, and it's yellow is really bright. I have a pic if you hit mystical dragons below, but that was right before he went into shed. He's just finishing up the shed, and can't wait to post another pic of him.

He is a sandfire x hypo pastel. So basicly he is het for clear nails. He does have about 3 or 4 clear nails though. Hopefully one of these days Ill get a full hypo pastel from them. I want to pick it out in person so I'm waiting untill the chicago show. Cant wait to see pics of yours.

You have quite the collection yourself. Well most people have other things they waste their money on, other hobbies or partying. My hobby is my passion, which is animals. So i spend it on them. It doesnt cost that much to feed them. I dont buy any food from petstores, too expensive! I used to work for a couple and I know how much they pay for stuff. So I got a job at a wholesaler. I get all my live and frozen food at cost. Its really cheap! lol. But as for you I would buy your crickets online if you dont already. It will save you tons of money. It used to cost me 20-25 dollars for 500 crickets from the pet store. Now I get 500 crickets for less then the cost of a movie ticket. Also cut corners as far as cost. Buy your frozen foods in bulk. Pet store pinkie .75-$1.00, Bulk price as low as $.25 each. And yeah working pays the animals bills. Even a part time job would do, while your in school. My average cost a week for food is $25 sometimes more sometimes less. any more questions feel free to ask. Oh and it doesnt take as long as everyone thinks to care for them all.

nate

Geez Nathan,
I have 14 lizards, 10 dogs, and a horse. I feel like all I do it take care of my animals. I can't imagine how you take care of all of them in a time efficient manner. I would be insane!
(Of course some people wonder about me anyway, considering I'm fifty years old)
Take care,
Karen

Hey Nathan. Can you post a pic of the sandfire X Hypo Pastel? I would love to see one. That line from the Dachius is AWESOME!! I'm hoping to get a couple soon.

Thanks,
Robert

I got him from a guy who went to robs place and picked him out. And to be sure I met rob in person at a reptile show and talked to him about it. He is the real deal. he doesnt show a ton of color except for when he wants some, lol. Or when I take him outside then put him back in his cage. His father was greeney and his mother was a hypo pastel. He is het for clear nails , and does have about 3-4 clear nails arlready. Hes one of those dragons that is hard to capture his true colors on camera. The guy I got him from said he produces some of the most colorfull dragons hes seen because of his genetics. I dont think he was pick of the clutch or anyhting though lol. I dont think he is that colorfull other then when he is fired up. when He first arived last summer he was spactacular when I pulled him out of the box. Colors I have never seen him fire up. A lot of peaches, but i think it was from stress. oh well, I paid for the genetics anyways. He isnt fired up in any of these pics. Ill try to get some today of him showing off. he really is a beautiful dragon when he wants to be, lol.

peace,
nate
