butterworms

Hey all,
I just got the phenix? worms from wormman. They are alot smaller than i thought they would be. Should i put something in there with them to eat? They were a bunch of black ones in there when i opened it, but they were still moving. Should i toss these? Is it worth it to attempt to breed these like i am trying to do with waxworms? SHould i wash them off before feeding them to charlie?

Yes? no?

Jeff

No, they don't eat. Infact, itll probably hurt them if you add food.
Black worms are fine, they are just closer to metamorphosis to the fly form.
They can't breed, they are sprayed witha preventative compound before sale.
Washing is not needed, again it would probably kill them and introduce mold.
