Fat Ball Python Question?

I am no expert on ball pythons, but was wondering if there is such a thing as an "over weight ball python" ?
I realise that balls are quite stocky pythons, but notice that some balls have fat rolls/creases in the loops, while other balls appear more well toned and lacking fat rolls.
