Emys Sharing Dinner

These two seem to enjoy eating side by side. They often eat from the same leaf at the same time.

Cute picture. And it looks like dinner is served on fine china! I see it all the time on this site that tortoises are solitary creatures and do not need a "roommate" but I have two leopards that stay together and two redfoots that eat together and sleep together. So much so that I have watched one go into one of the hides, not find the other and then walk across the tort table to check out the other hide. If he finds the other redfoot there then he will snuggle in. Always cute to see to rock hard animals snuggle as close as they can possibly get to each other.
