Ball Pythons do not have fangs.

But you get bit, and those needles will feel like it....

okay then, well do those "needles" regenerate?

meretseger Jul 30, 2003 07:59 PM

All of their teeth are continuously shed and renewed. A broken tooth won't regenerate, it will just shed out evenutally and be replaced.
The word 'fang' refers to elongated teeth (like the canines of mammals) and doesn't really refer to pythons because their hundreds of teeth are all the same size.

Well.. technically.. maybe they're vestigal fangs?

Sariel Jul 31, 2003 12:01 PM

I wouldn't know, I don't raise Humans, they have a tendency to be too violent and tend to eat their owners out of house and home...
