Reptarium cages and icandescent domes...

babysdaddy Apr 28, 2006 12:34 AM

Finally got my first chameleon (Jackson's) and I had to purchase a
Reptarium cage. I'd like to know if anyone could tell me if I can rest a
incandescent dome lamp on the top of the cage or do I need to use a stand with it.
I could also use anyone's advice (anyone with experience) being that
I'm a new chameleon owner.

You need to make sure your chameleon can't be burned by the lamp, and that it wont fall over and burn down your house.

If your really woried about it get some 1x1's and sit the dome on them so it's not resting on the cage.
