With enough moisture/humidity...are Chondro's able to shed on PVC pipes. They are, obviously, smoothe so I wasn't sure if I can just leave the snake be or if I need to put some wood or something rough to assist.

A lot of people use the pvc in their setups and don't have any problems. I had problems with my snake at shed, so I switched back to natural branches and that took care of the problem. PVC cages twists and heats up their pvc perches making them more rough than plain pvc also.
