incubator temps varying

apostolosgurl Apr 28, 2006 04:16 PM

i have got a hovabator and its temps are varying from 80 degrees to 85 degrees. will that kill the eggs or make the babies come out deformed? i don't know how to remove the wafer and put in a thermostat. maybe i just need a new incubator.

That much of a variation is more than enough to cause serious developmental issues.... The waffer is very easy to remove.... All you basicly need to do is unscrew it...
