Just was looking at an ad on KS for banded Uromastyx for sale, and wow were they thin! Also ad said they were mellow, wonder why? dehydrated maybe? I know fresh imports can come in thin, but to offer ones in such bad shape for sale is terrible.
Just needed to vent.

Agreed, those guys appear to be in pretty rough shape.Hopefully they will end up in the care of an experienced herper. Imports are hit or miss. I have an import ornate that was acclimated by a top breeder, but I would be too nervous to try it myself. It's interesting that imports go from the airport, to the wholesaler, from the wholesaler to the dealer and from there to your front door. No quarantine required. God only knows what kind of parasites and other nasties that fresh imports could be harboring. Good reminder to quarantine new arrivals before adding to your collection.
