Sumatran black blood/short tailed python

HighEndHerpsInc Apr 29, 2006 10:31 AM

Here's one of our holdback female sumatran black bloods from 05. She's about 2 1/2 feet now and getting better looking with every shed. Pictures don't do her justice.

Thanks for looking.

Great looking blood David, I love the contrast. Did you get any good hybrid clutches this year?

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, she's a good lookin gal.

I didn't get any hybrid clutches involving bloods, no. Though I did attempt blood ball het pied, blood tiger retic and blood albino patternless burmese. I'll try again next year. I just couldn't get the males to attempt so I need to try some different tricks. I do have a couple more clutches of albino rock burm and the triple hybrid irian/jungle/diamonds due to hatch in the next month though. Not as good as I'd hoped, but good all the same.

Hey,
Try shooting her in natural light. The flash you're using is too bright and blowing out the colors way too much. I'm sure she is much better looking than the photos suggest. JM2C!
