Brainstorm about ringers

XtremeXteriors Apr 29, 2006 01:21 PM

i dunno if this has come up in the past or if anyone has thought it b4,but from all the ringers I have seen,it seems that the ring is always in the area around where the umbilical cord would have been.Is it possible that a certain chemical could have been absorbed into the egg depending on how it was in the substrate or ground medium,to give the white effect??

Sounds like another possible answer to the question, although I will still stick to my "untamable morph" description.

...or maybe it's just a sign that the little thing couldn't hold still from day one(or 32-33,whenever the color comes in?)and it somehow physically impaired the coloring?(Possibly due to fluid restrictions from when the cord was rubbing the sides?)

btw
The first one i hatched(last season)had dragged it's yolk sac with it from the egg.It was tied in knots so bad that she never got to finish her on board nutrients.(It never released. So i had to cut/tie it.)
