My boy has really started to fatten up. I think he is about 8 inches longer than when i got him in December. I think I found a mate for him that is close to his size..is it too late for breeding activity? Thinking he might be on the small side for breeding..any thoughts? Thanks

he's just big enough to breed john but i'd wait the small amount of time till the next breeding season to keep things as normal as possible for them.....that way he'll be even larger too. my adult uni's typically start breeding on their own in early september & continue w/ less & less ardor till about Christmas when they will stop altogether.
