Once again I am begging, pleading and dancing naked to the Caramel snake goddess. My Nerd Line Het girl is in shed and plumping up nicely. Not sure if she is gravid or not, but her Romeo is no longer interested in romancing her.

fingers crossed, 4 leaf clover nearby, horseshoe for good luck, etc..etc... etc....

If she does lay and a little caramel nose pokes out of the shell, You will be able to hear me holler for joy!!

there are alot of people that still don't have eggs on the ground. I am one of those people that have 3 females that had great females with huge follicles in jan, females bred like crazy just haven't ovulated for me yet. I also have a spider male that is still breeding with 2 females. There are also some of the larger breeders out there that pair up year round.

Its late? I would say the MAJORITY of eggs that are to be layed in captivity have NOT been layed yet.

morphed May 01, 2006 12:09 PM

I agree with you Jeff, Most dont lay till late May on average. the majority of my females are due in about 3 weeks and i had an early year this year.
After the pre - lay shed its normally about 35 days which puts you right around late may early june, which is just about right for most breeders.. Good luck with her.
