What froggie to adopt?

TurtleTatt Apr 29, 2006 10:53 PM

We want to adopt a cute little frog into our family. We want one that would like some water and some land. And in the most shallow of life, he has to be cute... I want a tiny colorful one.
We know there is a lot of research to be done as we have adopted a baby turtle and a baby tortoise. We are prepared for the prep and care a little frog would take - once we decided what one would be most attractive for us, we would research lots....
I have read that the cutest most colorful ones are the poison dart frogs and that they aren't good for first time frog owners so I'm OK with that, but a plain old smooth green one could work for me :c)
Any start in the right direction would help!!!
Thanks!

hey,
I think I got the answer for you. The forg that I think is really fun and exciting that you can buy while still maintaning your budget is a green tree frog........these little guys never past 3 or even 2 1/2 inches and they are pretty hardy...as long as you feed them gut loaded crickets adn give them a arboreal humid enviornment they will last a decade...so take my advice and get a green tree frog...I have two myself....
