Hi all. My sister used to house lovebirds in an outdoor cage measuring about 5'x5'x10' tall. She gave away the love birds as she didn't have the necessary time to watch them. Well, the outside enclosure is now at my disposal and I was thinking of making it a tropical display. I would like to put an impressive chameleon in there. I know I will have to fix it up a bit different, such as change the wall material and add proper heating and a watering system. I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions or better a tutorial of some sort on setting up a complete year round outdoor setup. I live in Southern California, so the temperature shouldn't be an issue really. I have experience with chameleons. Right now I have a year old Jackson's (xantholophus). Also, what will be a nice docile chameleon that will grow large? I was first thinking of a veiled due to their supposed hardy nature, but I read that they can be tempermental. How are panthers, parsons, and mellers? Thanks for listening and I look forward to any responses. Here's a pic of Rex.
