Hubby got most of the cage done for the kids. The bottom door wasn't done, but I couldn't wait. That should go on this weekend. Scooter the crestie lives in the penthouse and Albert lives in the middle. What do ya think??

I think he loves his new crib. Now he just needs to invite the babes over for a romp in the sand. He,he!
Thanks for lookin'!!

Wow what an amazing job your husband did! I'm very impressed. I was thinking of making something like for for my little babies to, but I don't know where to start. Do you think you, or your husband, could give me some points and maybe a list of materials that I should use. Thanks so much!
P.S. Albert is such a little cutie! Looks just like my guy, Dune.
I asked my husband and he said...a lot of cussin' and chew. Boy, that made him sound like a redneck! he,he. He is a perfectionist, so it's hard to give pointers. He made one out of plywood first before he started on the good wood. I would start w/your measurements. Height, depth, length of each cage and decide how many you want to include in the unit. My unit is 6feet tall, the bottom unit is 2 feet tall, the middle unit is 1 1/2 feet tall and the top unit is 2 1/2 feet tall. I could've made three out of the unit, but don't like my animals near the floor and needed storage so company wouldn't see the insects and supplements. We started w/the shelves and then the outside. The best advice to give is use your imagination. I looked at furniture and got ideas there.
Good luck, sorry I couldn't have been more help.
