In the last few days, my 2 years old female become lethargic, almost she cant open her eyes, the tail get thin in the base, and she died this morning. I dissicated her body, and as you can see, have a lot of fat and a enlarged liver. Can you tell me if anyone have heard any case of complications in breeding very fat females? I leave this one in my friend's house (which gots a male) 2 months ago and nothing happened. This mass above the fat looks like a egg, not ovum, right? The terrarium was with good temp, humidity and a egg box with sphagnum.
Anyone knows the causa mortis? egg biding or whatever?
