fold on the underside???

I just resued an 8 foor female redtail, it has a groove along the underside along the first third of the body. it is in the center of the ventral side. Im not sure if it is some sort of a strech mark or what. dosnt appear to be any kind od scar, it just looks folded. help me out ill post a pic soon
