What's your fave opening P-K4 or P-Q4 or other? and good luck with your pairing project.

P-Q4 I had to switch my males. The 505g male did nothing he just sat there and didnt move a milimeter the new male i havew her with is all over her, but nothing yet. First year ive tryed to breed any snake.

I like the King's pawn but if i'm playing with a novice i immediatly develop my knights and do terrorist tactics. And i hope your zonata calms down.

I was always an e2-e4 man myself. Do you play tournaments? I did a little of that in high school. I think my rating reached about 1500, but when I went off to engineering school, I found that I had plenty of mental challenges without the need to play chess.

I've tried hand-feeding my Cal King twice since my initial success, and he's refused both times. Once, I was trying him on an adult mouse of about 20 grams. The second time, I was trying him on a weanling rat of about 30 grams. When I feed this week, I'm going to drop him back down to a 10 gram hopper and see whether he'll take that from my hand. It may be that he's not secure enough in my hand to want to tackle anything that will fill him too much.

I'm trying to time his feeding to be sure that he eats well before I go on a business trip. Getting everything set so he'll be hungry when I need him to be hungry could be a challenge. Of course, I'll only be gone a week, so if he has to go two weeks without food, he'll be okay. I'll just feed him very well when I return.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

Ha! I haven't played since they quit calling it p-Q4 etc.
Never caught on to the "new" stuff. Anyway, always been a queen's gambit type myself. I enjoyed Capablanca and those old fellas...You?
