Large Herbivores?

My friend wants to get some kind of large vegetarian reptile for a pet. He doesnt want an Iguana and isnt to interested in tortoises. Any suggestions?

Well, uromastyx are mainly veggie eaters, I have an egyptian female who is 21 inches or so.

Also have a few chuckwallas who are strictly veggies eaters and a desert iguana, not really big but a veggie eater for the most part and quite NEAT.

I'm sure if you do a search on herbivores , more of a selection will show up.
In themeantime, stop by the uromastyx or chuckwalla forums and get your feet wet/ listen to others about thier care/experiences with them. Do some research , figure what you can best take care of, as far as caging/lighting, supplies and TIME.
