Where did you find a Malpolon? I've been looking for some, tough to find.

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long the grasshopper stored up acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched tv. And then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus stole all his acorns, and he got a race car. Is any of this sinking in?

Some young feller found it at a reptile show in Alabama and emailed me and traded it for a water snake. I ain't complaining.

They are very beautiful. I had one for 5 years before i sold it to another guy. wish i hadnt. the temperment seems to go with moods and times of the day. catch them on the wrong moment and like a gun ready to fire.. other times they are shy and willing to come out gently.. not that i would trust one free hand almost got it once most of the time its a show they dont open their mouths. but hey if anyone finds a place selling them let me know
