First Eggs of the Year

tspuckler May 01, 2006 06:37 PM

Here's my female zigzag het for creamsicle finishing laying her first clutch of eggs tonight. I bred her to a zigzag creamsicle, so I'm looking forward to seeing what the babies will look like.

Next up, eggs from Mexican black kings and reverse Okeetee corns (both due this week)!

When are your splendida eggs due? I believe I read in one of your posts that you breed selectively for pitch black and bright yellow, and that's just how I like them.

tspuckler May 03, 2006 10:38 AM

Hard to say with the spendida, I certainly hope she goes into
a pre-egglaying shed this month - she sure is eating alot.

The looks a lot like a chain king. I know a guy that bought a snake that looks just like that and he said, or thought it was an eastern chain.
