I am wondering about if this species is as large as other scrub pthons ? Any one has adult Morelia clastolepis ? If they are large monsters ? thanks.

They seem to either reach 8' or 12'. Seems to be two distinct locales. I personally believe the animals that you see with the rosettes on their backs get larger than the plain yellow kind.

Hey Jim,

I just had an 11.5 foot male Mollucan and they are huge.(same size as a retic of the same lenght)
It was a pair I got the female was a young 6 footer.
Both were of the golden variety.
My gold 4 year old male is 8-9 feet currently and showed breeding interest only after reaching 8 feet.(now proven)
I was told of another pair of golds that are 13 and 14 feet here in Canada.

The large male was moved to give it the room size inclosure it needed.

Cheers,

Mardy
