Blue Belly! Someone help plz!

kindergecko May 01, 2006 10:17 PM

I have a baby (probably about 5wks) albino lepord gecko. He's a couple centimeters longer than my pinky. I just noticed in about 8 hrs. that his belly is turning a blueish color. He hasn't eaten since last night but drinks water plenty. He's alert and active at night by walking around his cage and lets me hold him with no obvious pain. I'm not sure when the blue color is though. Any ideas? Please help.

It's probably just his intestines and all his internal organs. The albino's are very light obviously therefore revealing the organs through the opaque skin of the stomache. I would not worry about it. It's the same in my albino leopards.
