I don't know about average. I do know of some 16+ft Jampea's that are a few years old, clearly adults. They are females, males don't typically get near as large as females.
Bali retics ARE NOT DWARF'S. I kept 1.2 bali's at one time. My male ws 10 1/2 ft and I recieved him clearly underweight. His back bone was sticking out, it wasn't a good situation. He gained approx 15lbs in my care! If you go through the forums you'll find some posts awhile back on bali retics. I can't remember the first breeder (ever) that I could come up with but their pair was 16ft in length! I have heard of both 18 and 20fters but I couldn't confirm these lengths. Bali is extremely populated! It's very possiable that larger yellow heads aren't found because they are killed. Notah Howe does infact breed Bali's and his adults are much smaller. If genetics has anything to say about it I'd recommend purchasing bali's from him.
