My lone male has been out of his mind for the last month--cruising non-stop, refusing to eat, trying to log onto match.com when I'm not looking...He finally ate for the first time last night, so I'm hoping things are back to normal...I guess the answer to your question is, mine WOULD have bred already, if I'd had a female, which I don't..

My two female bairdis laid 7 eggs each.
I am worried about a couple of eggs in one of the clutches. They don't look that good. Not too bad to give up on but not as good as the other eggs.
