IBD and Argentine Boas

I have been reading that there is a hight corralation between the two. Anyone have any info to share on this?

The latest info that I know is that this disease has not been identified in wild snakes yet. Some theorize that it originates from boa territory since they are somewhat more resistant than snakes from say, asia. It has been diagnoses in nearly all locals of boas, so there is no direct cause and affect relationship, yet, if you heard so, I'd half to guess it's coming from someone's collection that had more argentines then anything. Probably coincidence.
