Follow Up to RIP Black Milk

So I went to the VET yesterday for a checkup and correct sexing of my one remaining living Black Milk. He told me the the one milk that passed sounded like it had a stroke.

I asked him about what it would cost to perform an ecropsy on the snake. He told me, for something as mysterious as the way the snake died he would do it for free.

Unfortunatly I screwed up and froze the snake making the false assumption that it would preserve the snake until I could get the ecropsy. I totally overlooked the fact that cold temps destroy the tissue and I might be difficult to get an exact cause of death.
So with no conclusion, I'm gonna find a nice try to bury her under.

A note to future snake sudden death owners. Check with your vet as soon as it happens. He might be able to tell you the cause of death at no charge.

Thanks for all the people who made the nice comments about the passing of my black milk. It's was nice to read while bummed.

Thanks again:
Jason Mc
