King moodiness

zhivago97 May 02, 2006 07:56 PM

Do your kings have moods?

My two guys don't mind being handled if they are crawling around, and I reach in and get one (yes they are kept separately). Maybe hunger makes them less shy!

But if I disturb anyone who is in a hiding spot, they get skittish and sometimes irritable.

They're both less than a year old, but they seem to have moods. Is this just my guys or are others the same?

Thanks, Tom

What kind of kings do you have? I've witnessed this type of behavior in my friends yearling Cal King, and to a lesser degree in my WC adult Cal King female.

My cal is like that. Not so much if I lift a hide that she's under. But if she's burrowed under the aspen and I dig her out she gets mad.

They are jurassics - king/milk hybrids - and both less than a year old. Tom
