I have contacted Rico at Signal Herp, and am hoping to have a small chondro in a short time. I still have time to fool around with his housing though. Im thinking about a 12"X12"X12", with a big apple herp proportional thermostat on a ceramic heat bulb. I already have the encloseure set up with nothing in it but some perches hot glued to the sides. I am controlling its temp with a rheostat, but am switching to the thermostat soon. I was going to do paper towels or newspaper on the bottom, with a decent sized water dish. Would moving water be a good idea to increase humidity, and possibly encourage drinking? And would a hot glue gun be suitable for ataching perches, or should I get silicone aquarium glue? Any other suggestions are welcome.
