Baby pics

Here are some pictures of my hatchlings. I think both pictures are of the same lizard. The first hatched one was the most active so I took his picture in the aquirium too. They both got more active, but are taking a nap right now. I haven't put a basking rock in there yet, Is there anything else they need? I have already gotten a water dish, they both have waded through it already. What is a good basking temp.? Any other advice would be helpfull, I have already been to Eve's site.

Congrats! I'd put a basking rock in there soon and the basking temp can be the same as for adults. I'd also include some places for them to hide. What works well is toilet paper or paper towel rolls cut in half length wise so you get little 'tunnels'. Keep the water dish clean, my hatchlings seemed to mess it up rather quickly. And don't forget to get some xtra small crickets!

Congradulations on the hatchlings. As David mentioned, give them some heat and they require the same care as adults except for the cricket size. I also mix water with my calcium and give them drinks with an eye dropper. Oh one more thing, if possible, give them some real sun. It will help them develop stronger bones.

I can't wait to see what that baby looks like when it gets its adult colors. It'd be really cool if it looked like Mom!

Congratulations on your first hatchlings
