What happened to snow's?

venom_within May 02, 2006 11:03 PM

I've been searching through the classifieds and online sotres and seem to be finding virtually nothing in the interest of snow hondurans. Since my male anery het amel died, I'd like to find another male like this, or amel het anery, to complete my snow project. No one seems to have them. The odd thing is that everyone is totally into ghosts right now, and no one seems to have snow prjects anymore. I've only been away from the forums for one season (2005)... Does anyone here still breed snows? Is there still a market for them? and Why did ghosts suddenly become the main focus of the hondo circuit?

Just finding this a little odd since not 2 years ago snows were huge selling for $750 - $2000...

It seems the market over-seas is booming. Certain breeders are exporting to Europe and China for double that price.
Good luck on finding one, mine won't be bred until next year!

I have a snow project this season, in fact, if you look down or scroll down 14 main threads down entitled, " And of course, here's hoping to produce..." it will show my pair are albinos definite het for anery...and am hoping to produce a snow or two. Both these guys have snow parents as their mothers. I am pretty sure my female albino definite het anery is gravid...so I'm crossing my fingers...as I am excited to produce my own snow...maybe this year.
