Lookin for a lizard

Artmeis Jul 30, 2003 03:29 PM

Hey I wanted to buy a lizard but i'm not sure which kind. I want a big lizard something over 2' I think. I want something that will not mind being handle and will enjoy my company. Any ideas?

i know you said two feet. but some other good choices a litttle smaller would be bearded dragons, egyption uromastyx, and i think some of the larger plated lizards. golden tegus might calm down. or even i have heard os calmer chilian dwarf tedus.

a note about a previous reply down below. black throats are gonna get 5-7 long. and weigh 15 pounds. they get big. but if you want to go there an iguana would fit you than too. just know what you are getting into with these larger lizards. do lots of research on all species and get one that best fits you.
