Look what I found...

A.C. May 03, 2006 11:33 AM

went to go feed these guys, and look what I found. These two have been together on and of for the last 4 weeks, but this is the first time I saw copulation. You got to look hard cause I didn't want to spook them, but you can see them hooked up. They were hooked up for another 45 min after I saw them. The female is a nice orange cbb '03 Enge animal. The male is a cbb '03 from Agosta line.

Here's hoping for some babies from her and my other cbb '03 female who is even bigger.

A.C. May 03, 2006 06:39 PM

The orange one's parents came from that area I believe. The male's origins are unknown at this time. Let's see some pics!

Either you or Mark have to go find me one of those blood red simus!
Wht county are they known from?

haha A.C. I'll try...
Anyway, I lost my male this year from Calhoun county FL. He had an overall reddish tinge compared to my central FL ones but wasn't as red as you describe. Some in n. FL are really red. (I have some spots to check out) There are others in NC that have that coloration too.
The reddest I ever had (30 yrs ago) was from Alabama. There hasn't been much if any record of them from AL in many years..
Too bad I didn't keep THAT line going.....

of that crazy red simus from a few years back. It changed hands a bunch of times.

Mark, let's get to those spots my man! Here's a great quote from one of my college professors when asking him where I could find getula in the area of my college...
"Well I can tell you where they won't be...IN YOUR DORM ROOM!"

Get out there and stomp around!

Ha ha! I am known for saying that "I've never found one in my living room".
Well, ya know, A.C. you gotta give me a little time when you come down, so I can plan a trip next time.
Still waiting for the Drymarchon pics!
