Wild Kings so far this year (all Cali's)

Buzztail1 May 03, 2006 04:36 PM

I have found a few California Kings this year and thought I would share some pics with y'all:

All of these kings are still out in the wild making new kings for future generations of herpers to find. Just thought you might like to see some wild stuff for a change.

That's awesome! I wish I could find someone that breeds locality Cali Kings --- but collecting them is illegal, isn't it?

At least in Arizona, California and Nevada.

In Arizona you need a General Hunting license and can collect 4 per year and be in possession of 4.

In California you need a Fishing license and I believe you can collect 2 (someone confirm this).

I'm not sure on what is required for Nevada...someone help us out here.

Kerby, in CA you can collect 4 with a fishing license.
ECC there are a few couple people selling locality Cal Kings. Rick Staub does Davis locality Blackbelly phase, Tim Turmezi I believe does Scissor's Crossing black and white striped/banded/abberrant desert phase.

california is 4 per fishing license and 1 mountain king per license.
