Where to get new Leopards.

ztous May 03, 2006 06:17 PM

Well I have a large vacant tank so I decided I will make it into a large tank for my leopard gecko to enjoy however 90 gallons is quite a bit for one small lizard so I am looking to buy more and looking on the internet I really like some of the morphs available but my local pet store will never have these so I was wondering if there were any good breeders online that I could safely order geckos from. I am spefically interested in blizzards and out of sheer curiousty how much would a juvenile snow mack cost since the parents are so expensive I would imagine this would be alot.

Mack snows are fairly pricy right now ($500 range). But the good news is in a few years the price will come down to pet prices.

There are alot of good breeders out there. I tend to buy my stuff as local as possible so shipping is not an issue. But this may take alot of searching and you still may not find anyone who breeds what you like.

You can also try to find a close reptile show to check out. Not only will you see the animal in person but you can also get a better idea on how the breeder is with his animals and his customers.

garrick demeyer at crestedgecko.com is just awesome when it comes to getting quality animals for fair prices... also hotgeckos.com, urban gecko, ron tremper...theres a number of them. The only ones i've dealt with personally are groundgeckofreak and crestedgecko there are a few others that got out of the business too
