Does anyone know of something that kills fireants and is OK in the pen? I've had some invaders that moved into the tortoise pen and I want them out. Help!

I've been battling the little suckers lately in my tortoise pen. I block off the area around the bed, apply ant killer (don't remember the brand) then hose everything down well after the ants have died & before removing the barrier. The side benefit to this approach is that it allows the grass to grow in that area.
So far I've had 2 ant beds show up in the pen & both have been taken care of without having to move the tortoises out.
great idea! I hadn't even thought of blocking off that area of the pen. Thanks!
