vivarium material

kennny Jul 30, 2003 03:54 PM

hello, i'm about to purchase a irian jaya carpet python which i'm told needs slight humidity. i'm going to build the viv myself but i'm not sure which would be an appropiate wood due to the extra moisture, if anyone can help with this or has any other advice on keeping this type of snake it would be very much appreciated!

Hello,

Irian's do need a little humidity... 55 to 60% is pretty good..
Go to www.moreliapythons.com ; many of the members are carpet pro's, there is a lot of good stuff there... try to research as much as you can, and then come up with a small list of questions,
See you there!
