Superworms????

meandmydragon Feb 07, 2003 07:01 PM

Are super worms ok to give to a young 3 month old BD? Or should it be baby super worms? I know mealies are bad, but supers look like bigger mealies so...????

I've read you should wait until your beardie is about 200 grams or so (usually at about 6 months).

I have fed smaller, just shed (white) supers to 3 month old beardies. Depending on the size and weight of the dragon. If you think the worm looks too big, it probably is! You have to be careful when they are young not to feed too large a prey. So if your not sure, better to wait then to be sorry! Goodluck! LM
