Jungle Female

sdi May 04, 2006 12:03 PM

Another work break. I just got this 2005 female from P.K. on Tuesday. I noticed yesterday when I went to check her out that she is going into shed. If you look at the third photo you can just see her eyes starting to cloud up. You can also see through the eye on the left side of the photo.

I love the shadowing on her back between the saddles. It remindes me of some BCC I have seen.

I hope you enjoyed the photos.

I was wondering where that girl went she was the first jungle listed on Pete's jungle list! I was going to purchase her! I'm so pissed for waiting to long to discuss it over with my girlfriend. She was the only one that really stuck out over the rest huh? Dam that sucks for me but not for you right! Snooze ya lose on my part. Would of been my first jungle..... OH WELL at least I got this albino from the burkes. I heard a lot of people wanted this one before I purchased her. Must be nice to own that beautiful jungle.

Tell your girl friend thanks for me,lol! I can see why alot of people were upset about your albino. The Burk's have some killer stuff. Nice find!

I know you have a killer lipstick from the burkes. You should post some more pics of him/her? I remember you had a few pics that really showed her red coloring 8)

Good to hear from you again. Thanks for the compliments! I hope everything is going well for you.

Take care,
Steve

Things are going great! That little female I got from you a while back is FANTASTIC! When it comes to feeding time she's a little heat seeking missile! Her colors are really coming through also. Talk to you later and keep me posted on your upcoming litters.

That's great to hear! I can't wait to see what happens with your Summit pastel. What a screamer!

jasongonzo May 04, 2006 01:50 PM

Thanks,

I'm also looking to pick up a jungle this year from P.K. to pair up with her. I just hope he has another that looks as good as the girl you picked up.

You and I had both better quit taking so many breaks at work or we're gonna get fired! lol. But who wants to work instead of talk about boas right?

This girl is due at the end of May. She is a true pastel - reduction in black, washed out appearance. Look at the saddles in the firs and third photos,...no black. She was bred by a jungle. She was about 6.5 ft long and 2.5 years old when the photo was taken. Even gravid her appearance has not changed much. Man, if you could cross those two pastel lines and get the jungle gene in there you would have the cleanest jungles on the market. I will keep you posted if you want.

jasongonzo May 04, 2006 02:11 PM

I would definitely like to see the outcome of that pairing. And I agree on getting the two lines crossed. That would make some super clean jungles!

I love the color and clean base on that girl!

sdi May 04, 2006 02:15 PM

She is creeeamy. Thanks for posting.

Randall_Turner May 04, 2006 04:01 PM

Super jungles are my favorite looking morph, but this girl definetely ranks up near the top. Beautiful soft pastel coloring with awesome popping saddles. You shouldn't show pix like this to people, it can make some of us depressed

Boas make the world go round.

wetceal May 05, 2006 12:26 AM

else too! That is a great looking Jungle. I thought the same thing when I saw her photo on Pete's website. We have a female Hypo Jungle that's got the same kind of markings and that's one of the things I like most about her! That girl you got is definitely a great addition to any collection!

It is always good to get input from someone who has experienced a good sample of the jungle population first hand. It can be hard to pick out a boa out from a photo. Being fairly new too boas, I still get that "did I pick the right one" feeling. I am pretty happy with this one. I have to agree, the "tracks" between the saddles are an added bonus.

By the way, I would love to see some updated photos of your puppy some time. Dobermans and jungles, you couldn't ask for two better pets. Thanks for the compliments and congratulations on a great year!
