have you ever seen anything like this?

hmm, kingsnake reduced the size of my photos and erased my lovely circles of where the red is. hopefully you can still see it. if you would like to see better pictures please email me

i noticed these red spots on the outside of hugo's tail on the end of the spikes today, but the red spots are on both sides of a row. he doesn't act like it hurts to touch his tail. before i completely freak out i just wanted to get some opinions and here are two things to keep in mind

A. i will admit hugo doesn't keep the cleanest tail in the world. i seriously think he poops on his tail. i worry about blister disease but those are odd places for blisters and i am overly paranoid about it because one of my collareds just got over it

B. hugo has recently figured out he is long enough to stand on his tippy toes on his rocks and he can get his front claws onto the screen top, this however is not very graceful and he seems to fling himself around during his acrobats.

Yoshi my ornate had the same types of red marks near his vent. When i took him to the vet we discovered they were blood blisters. The vet gave me a cream to apply to them; it's the same thing they give to humans for burns. I also took him off of washed play sand and onto newspaper and they have gone away. Just my personal experience. Hope Hugo is okay

well i have silvadine cream and i did put that on his tail the day i saw them in case it was some type of burn. anyway, the next day most of the marks were gone. i am keeping an eye on his tail
