I'm really starting to like the Hypo Pastel morph a lot, My favorite color dragons are the orange, and I got some nice orange dragons pictured on webshots a link to them is below in my signature. Pictured are a few hypo pastels, and a het pastel

This is a Hypo Pastel I purchased from the Dachiu's. His name is Kami.

This of course is Buddy. I bought him from the Sandfire Dragon Ranch

And finally this is the het hypo pastel X hypo orange/pastel Kiya. I refuse to post who I bought her from cause they are horrible. They shipped her to me not telling me she was nipped, and refused any return or refund of some money. These people sell here on kingsnake and I wish I could name them. They called missing toes an abrasion, and no big deal, and on top of that when I got her she was 4 grams. On thier website they state they will not ship any dragon under 7 inches, she looked maybe two weeks old at the most.!!! Can you tell I'm pissed.lol.

This is Amber. Amber was purchased from a pet smart and was my first dragon ever, and the reason for all my other 8 dragons. I fell in love with this dragon. I never knew of any reptile that shows love like a bearded dragon, and there are not many that will let you love them either. She is a really sweet dragon. Amber story is kind of sad though. She was my first dragon, and my only sick one that I own. When I first got her I took her in for a check up and a fecal sample. She was showing a patch on her leg that looked like the scales were shriveling up. She was givin meds for the coccidia and put on anti biotic baytril for the leg. On the next checkup her coccidia level was down, but her leg was not healing, or looking any better. So five more days of Albon. After a week the patch looked like it grew and was now on her under side and was showing a yellow coloring. I was just learning about yellow fungus and how it was traced back to a supplier of pet smart. I treater her externally with lamisil, and put her on probiotics. Well, it's a year later and she is now 19 inches and 545 grams and still thriving. She no longer shows signs of the fungus except for the patch of dead looking scales on her leg. You can see it in the pic. But no spreading or new signs of it. I think her scales in the leg are permently damaged. I feel bad cause she is always in a quarentine state, meaning I don't handle her with the others, she can't play with the other females, and strict percausions are taken not to cross contaminate any thing that might come into contact with others, everything has to get disinfected, meaning she gets handled less cause I don't even wear the same shirt after I hold her. She has her own room with her own floor to run around on, just does not come out in the other room with the other dragons. I love them too much to risk a spread of illness. Just thought she deserved to get shown off once in a while since she is the reason for all the other dragons. After this experiance I never bought from a pet store again, and refuse to do so.

very pretty girl... does the yellow fungus go into a dormant phase? do you think she still carries it?

well shes a nice dragon, the reason for my dragons is a little girl dragon named Kinta, she is no longer with us and we miss her dearly, she was my first dragon and although she wasnt long for this world she taught us a whole lot and we will always miss her =]

I'm not sure if Amber is a carrier of the fungus or she got it externally from another dragon. Actually I never got it confirmed by a vet, at that time it was new and not many people knew about it. I THINK she got it from being with a carrier meaning the carrier sat on her back, or just being in the same enclosure with it. There are a few other things that can cause yellowing of the scales. What I do is basically all precausinary, I thought she was going to die from it. I really don't want to deal with it again with any of my other dragons. I plan on breeding the others, and that would be a big no no and I would not feel comfortable breeding them if I knew in my mind that they might have been in contact with it. So she gets her own room and area to run, but does not in any fashion become in contact with the others. She shows signs of being cured just can't determine if she carries it internally. She sure gets her fill of attention, and free roaming time.

Oh, thats so sad. I wish she could play. She's lucky to have a caring person like you. I bet you feel lucky to have her too.
Take care,

I just tried to check them out and the site is not longer available.
They had some beardies listed earlier this year but I haven't seen anything lately. Now their site is gone. Interesting.
