I just received my new baby from JMarchon Reptiles on Tuesday. He is so cute. I love to watch him. He ate crickets immediately.
I have not started to feed him all he can eat in 5 min. yet as he ate 10 yesterday and I wanted to give him a little time to get used to the place...although he seems to be king of his domain already.lol
I will get pictures later when he is comfortable..I have not even held him yet except to place him in his home.
He is from the Snow line. Cornelius is his dad. I cannot wait to see him grow up.
Thanks Jonathan...Scamp is GREAT !!!

WOW it is so nice to have so many family members out there that keep in touch. LOL.
Jonathan already chided me on spoiling him as far as feeding him too many crickets as opposed to letting him eat his greens.
I already have one REAL spoiled dragon....I do not want Scamp to be...fat chance.
Nice to hear from you all...I will be doing some pictures of Scamp this weekend....he is just so cute.

What size enclosure do you have yours in? Freezy doesnt eat as many crickets as I thought he would and hasnt really touched his greens in a few days. Ofcourse im going to get back to the house and half his salad will be gone imsure but as of the past 2 days not a whole lot of green eatin goin on!

Right now he is in a 20 gal long. I have a jungle gym grape vine on one end...the cool end, and a high grape vine on the basking side...he can get about 2" from the light. The light is on top of the screen along with the UVB tube.
Scamp is not too interested in his greens either. Oh well, maybe he'll get the hang of it soon. Heck, my 8mo. old still does not eat greens...he does not look any worse for it, but I know he should be eating them.
I cannot wait to see Scamp lightens up. I love the snow dragons. My older dragon is a normal with maybe a shading of yellow.
Ha, he looks like a dinosuar when I look at Scamp.

thanks!! I will be sure to let Wendy know! If you see a pic of our animals it was more hten likely taken by her. She is the photographer in the family!

I love the mirror pics, it looks like he is trying to stay upright on ice in a few of them! Funny stuff!

Yes it is nice to be in conact with the other family members. My girl( we hope) is also in a 20L right now but will go up in size as she grows. I haven't even seen mine eat but some of the food disapears. Mine in not too keen on veggies either. What are you all feeding yours? Here is what I feed. the greens are usually mustard, collard and romaine. But sometimes I get red leaf, turnip greens and kale. I always mix three types together. So I give that first( in the morning) usually 1 hour after lights go on. Then about 1 hour after I give crickets. I am feeding 3/8 right now but next order will be 1/2 inch. thn in the afternoon I feed pellets moistend and more crickets and then in the evening everything again. I have only handled her twice really just to show a couple of people and to change the papertowels in her cage. I have other large dragons some breeding and another snow female too who was born in Dec 05.So it has been fun watching her grow. I too can't wait to see this new little one get lighter. Lets keep in touch!!!
